Hress Vine is a parasitic vine. The harlech tree is the only plant in the Crater hardy enough to co-exist with it, and the two are regularly found together. The harlech tree is helped in part by the tekk, who keep the vine's growth in check.
Hress vine is prized among tikedi healers, and very rare to come across because it only grows within the deepest and best guarded regions of tekk territory. It is fabled as being useful for creating a sort of cure-all drug: in reality, an antibiotic, which is much less potent than the stories would suggest.
